From November to March, we offer aficionados a chance to immerse themselves in the world of truffles.
De November to March Thursdays and Fridays
The tour begins in Richerenches at the Domaine Saint Alban with a demonstration of cavage (truffle- hunting). This will be followed by a truffle workshop, where you will learn the subtleties of fine truffle cuisine and wine-pairings. Appetites whetted, will have lunch at L'Escapade for a truffle-themed meal. The day concludes with a visit to the 12th century Commanderie des Templiers, the fortified headquarters of the Knights Templars.
Marché de Richerenches November to March Every Saturday
This tour begins with a demonstration of cavage (truffle- hunting) at the Domaine Saint Alban after which we will stroll through the Richerenches truffle market, the largest in all of Provence. We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant where you can savor a special truffle menu. The day concludes with a visit to the 12th century Commanderie des Templiers, the fortified headquarters of the Knights Templars.
